Associate Marketing Manager, Email & Site

Our client, a leading retailer, is looking for a contract Associate Marketing Manager.  The Associate Manager Marketing (AMM) is responsible for driving traffic and new customers to our sites through flawless execution of promotional and digital marketing strategies. The AMM will partner with the broader Europe Online team, Europe specialty marketing team and US Online teams to build and execute campaigns that engage customers and drive key business metrics.

Key Responsibilities
• Own end-to-end execution of in-season promotions including brief writing, partnering with buying teams on timing, working closely with creative team to bring stories to life through compelling concepts, participation in creative review, and weekly reporting; ensure alignment with Europe and US brand partners where appropriate
• Innovate promotional marketing campaigns through both customer experience and messaging
• Plan, manage and communicate the monthly promotions calendar taking into consideration business goals, events, historical performance, customer experience and local market relevance
• Work with web production team to ensure all messaging is accurate and launched on time • Own QA of all promotions
• Manage ongoing competitive analysis, present insights on industry trends and best practices
• Liaise with Customer Service leads to resolve CS issues on a case-by-case basis
• Liaise with the centralized digital marketing group to optimize budget allocation to search, retargeting, and other digital channel traffic drivers
• Analyze data at a granular level, summarize concisely and report out key learnings. Distill trends from raw data
• Maintain tools for consolidating key metrics and sharing with management
• Ensure strong marketing synergy across multiple channels, regions and vehicles
• Effectively collaborate across several functions including, but not limited to, buyers, CRM, creative, production, digital marketing, web content developers and external partners as needed
• Assist in quarterly hindsighting and recommendation creation for future seasons
• Provide additional day-to-day support and ad-hoc analysis for the promotions, digital marketing and, email

Required Skills

• 2-4 years of relevant experience
• Experience planning and executing successful promotions
• Excellent project management skills and ability to work in fast-paced, ambiguous environment
• Detail-oriented with a passion for flawless execution
• Ability to analyze data, interpret for a broad audience, and develop fact-based recommendations to drive marketing decision-making
• Technically savvy. Able to work with product management, IT, and web content developers
• Team player with strong intrapersonal skills to foster relationships with multiple cross-functional teams
• Excellent communications skills: timely follow-up, ability to articulate objectives, strategies and tactics to various cross-functional teams
• Experience with Omniture and promotional systems a plus
