Associate Program Manager

Our client, a leading beauty brand, is looking for a contract Associate Program Manager.  

POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for end-to-end execution of all monthly subscribtion program sampling logistics, from planning stages through implementation and delivery to company Distribution Center. Clearly and actively communicates and traffics program schedules, deliverables, and expectations to all cross-functional internal team members and external vendors.

* Manages all components of kitting, including ensuring assortments, kitting, distribution and delivery within internal and external vendors
* Creates and publishes comprehensive schedules and sets interim milestone meetings and touchpoints between x-channels: Integrating Marketing, Procurement, Inventory Management, Product Management and Merchandising. Proactively monitors progress to achieve deadlines and results
* Fosters partnerships with Marketing, Merchandise, Procurement, Distribution Centers and Planning teams. Clearly and actively communicates requirements, deliverables, timelines and budget status (if needed) throughout program lifecycle
* Manages day-to-day tasks of program execution:
o Works with Marketing on finalizing assortments and Planning to ensure POs are cut and units deliver on time
o Owns the relationship with the 3PL kitting vendor to ensure projects are on schedule and within scope
o Tracks schedules and updates status reports for weekly status meetings with internal teams and 3PL kitting vendor
* Partners with Marketing and Creative team on new concepts, program updates and manages vendors. Works with inventory team to ensure product is sent to/from distribution centers and kitting vendors according to schedule

* 1-3 years’ experience in program/account/marketing project management
* College degree or equivalent experience
* Excellent technical skills – MS Office (specifically Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
* Operations, marketing, kitting or retail experience preferred
* Effective relationship-building skills, ability to cultivate strong partnerships across teams to get work done
* Effective communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal; confidence in leading/facilitating cross-functional team meetings to achieve results/push programs forward
* Exceptional organizational skills; detail-oriented
* Strong time management skills; ability to juggle priorities
* Can-do positive attitude and a roll-up-your-sleeves approach
