Beauty Account Manager


The Beauty Account Manager is expected to maintain and grow existing accounts while adding new customers in their assigned territory. This is a field sales position that requires interfacing with customer contacts at multiple levels within purchasing, packaging, operations, marketing, design, creative, quality and supply chain groups. 

Essential Functions 

• Grow topline sales 

• Develop new business prospects through cold-calling and other methods 

• Interact with existing customers to increase sales across all product lines 

• Identify revenue generating growth opportunities within incumbent and target account base 

• Develop and implement selling strategies with assigned customers and prospects

 • Develop and maintain annual revenue budgets based on corporate goals

 • Operate with a “Company First” agenda targeting sales based on the Company’s key objectives

 • Develop long term, multi-level relationships within accounts and prospects

 • Submit timely and accurate information as required for corporate reporting (weekly updates/ weekly CRM reporting) 

• Work well with all levels of co-workers both in our offices and manufacturing plants and partners

• Self-starter that is results oriented

 • Excellent communications, presentation and problem-solving skills

 • Able to manage complex business situations 

• Ability to work cross-functionally to drive business solutions to increase topline sales 

• Strong computer and organizational skills

 • Strong technical beauty-packaging knowledge 

• Ability to develop new business at new accounts 

Required Education and Experience 

• A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree or its equivalent is preferred, however relevant sufficient sales experience in lieu of a degree may be acceptable 

• 3-7 years of experience in the field or in a related area, cosmetic packaging sales experience preferred 

• Sales training experience a plus EEO Statement
