Brand Manager - Center City, Philadelphia

EXPERIENCE

3 - 5 years of CPG and agency experience needed. 

Peer group: brand strategist, digital strategist, activation strategist, art directors, resource management

CLIENTS

  • Collaborates with clients and the brand strategist to set and maintain the vision and strategic direction for each piece of business
  • Understands the essential dynamics, strategies and drivers of their client’s business
  • Assists with new business opportunities as assigned
  • Works with resource management to effectively identify and communicate scope of all projects coming through the agency
  • Ensures profitability through pricing, scope management and time monitoring
  • Understands the agency portfolio of offerings and how to apply them to solve client business problems
  • Coaches, involves, and inspires the growth and development of junior agency staff
  • Manages accounts to ensure that the client’s brand objectives are continually being met or exceeded, i.e. manages client expectations
  • Oversees the direction of all agency work to ensure it adheres to client expectations
  • Builds and manages relationships with clients, internal teams, and external agency partners or vendors
  • Gathers client feedback, secures client approvals and assures client compliance
  • Works with the Group Brand Manager to foresee and identify new streams of work for existing clients/accounts
  • Communicates client interests to the internal agency teams
  • Facilitates internal and client meetings
  • Leads status calls and all client presentations

PROCESS

  • Works with the brand strategy team to provide strategic guidance, both internally and externally, based on sound research and analysis
  • Ensures profitability through pricing, scope management and time monitoring
  • Understands the agency portfolio of offerings and how to apply them to solve client business problems
  • Coaches, involves, and inspires the growth and development of junior agency staff
  • Collaborates with resource management to align all resources necessary within the agency in order to accomplish client objectives
  • Recognizes and resolves conflict situations (internally and externally)
  • Drafts work orders to communicate direction to internal team
