Business Development Director
Our client is a creative, innovative and cool company living in the beauty brand space. They connect the trio of consumers, content creators and brands and transform how they interact. They have created the premiere online destination for all beauty lovers.
In this role you will work with a cross-functional global team in developing strategies and business cases, sourcing partnerships and driving initiatives to grow our business.
- Identify and address advantageous business opportunities for the company by combining strategic insights and data on beauty and lifestyle advertising opportunities and new innovative marketing products
- Lead and generate new sponsorship opportunities for the company, which includes pursuing new opportunities, creating/evaluating proposals and driving negotiations with potential partners
- Coordinate with both internal teams and external partners to ensure adoption of the company solutions in beauty and fashion segment
- Provide leadership directive, have ownership over and be the driving force behind new partnership opportunities for the company
- 8+ years of hands-on experience in Strategic Business Development or Sales. Beauty, Fashion or agency industry experience a plus
- Tracking record of deal closing
- Demonstrated Project Management experience
- Solid understanding of product innovation cycles, and startup dynamics. Entrepreneurial background a plus
- Ability to manage by influence and work effectively with cross-functional teams in a global, matrix organization
- Ability to learn and understand the intricacies of the company’s products and technology
- Undergraduate degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field – MBA is a plus Bachelor's degree required
