Comm & Digital Media Mgr.
Our international sports and apparel company is looking for a Communications & Digital Media Manager for a 6-month contract that could extend, or convert to a full-time role.
The nature of the work is focused on leveraging creative storytelling and digital tools to research and write unique and compelling stories about Client’s Advanced Innovation teams, leaders, employees, and their work.
The ideal candidate for this role will be a self-starter with extensive writing and editing experience, an eye for detail, and a process-oriented mindset.
Typical duties include: • Writing and editing internal communications tactics and stories across digital channels • Managing an editorial calendar and curating story ideas through research, reporting, interviewing, and asset management • Supporting the operation and administration of all digital tools and channels • Coordinating communications timelines and deliverables • Building credible relationships with team members and business stakeholders Qualifications • Bachelor's degree (minimum) in journalism, English, communications, business, or related field required • 5+ years of writing and editing experience, preferably for a large brand or publication • Exceptional writing and planning skills combined with a sense of urgency, flexibility and attention to detail • Deep understanding of the evolving digital landscape • High aptitude for creative thinking and the ability to work collaboratively with others • Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience using content management systems as well as basic HTML and CSS
