Corporate Buying PR Assistant

Position: Corporate Buying PR Assistant
Location: Western Suburbs
Status: Full-time 
Starts: ASAP

Rate: Depends on experience

Our corporate client is seeking a PR Assistant to support the Marketing team in assigned areas of responsibility including consumer media relations, media event support and seasonal activations.  

Duties and Responsibilities
•    Work with third-party agency to develop and review integrated marketing plans
•    Proofread and edit media collateral and editorial content
•    Assist in event coordination and execution
•    Conduct research and assist in department initiatives and projects
•    Correspond  with Corporate Buying teams to coordinate and source product samples
•    Execute administrative duties including scheduling meetings, making travel arrangements and ad-hoc projects as requested

•    Exceptional organizational, problem solving, and time management skills
•    Strategic and critical thinker with high emphasis in accuracy and urgency, and the ability to adapt to changing priorities 
•    Excellent writing, proofing and editorial skills  •  Professional and effective communication, both verbal and written 
•    Has the ability to prioritize duties among multiple concurrent projects
•    Proficient knowledge in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook) 
•    Agency experience preferred
