Creative Director - Catalog, open to relocation - based in Los Angeles
Our client, the premier provider of high end educational products is looking for an experienced, energetic Creative Director to spearhead their catalog, print and digital marketing efforts as well as provide guidance and leadership to our creative team. Our client is open to relocation assistance for the right candidate, as this role is based on-site in Carson with benefits and full-time hours.
In this position, you will be working with multiple internal departments to oversee the creation of all print and digital materials that pass through our Art Department, including multiple annual hundred-page catalogs, marketing brochures, retail flyers, event signage, e-mails, home pages and more.
Ideal candidates will possess the ability to maintain high expectations of self, team members and colleagues, omni-channel marketing strategy and will have experience managing simultaneous projects, work flows and people, and working closely with high-level staff members and company executives on a daily basis.
Responsibilities & Requirements
•Oversee the creation of all catalogs, printed collateral and digital assets across all channels
•Guide, collaborate with and support team leads within the Art Department, including the Catalog and Digital Art Directors, Production Manager, Color Manager and Photo Studio Art Director
•Provide support to multiple internal departments, including Marketing, Retail, Merchandising, and Research and Development
•Minimum 5–10 years of experience managing creative professionals
•Crystal-clear communication skills
•Technically sophisticated and Mac-savvy skill set, with exceptional skills in Adobe Creative Suite
•Ability to assess and delegate workload
•Talent for developing and promoting efficiency in procedures
•Capacity to meet aggressive deadlines and juggle multiple priorities
•Experience establishing and maintaining highly accurate, error-proof file management procedures
