Customer Service Manager

Private Label/wholesale Accessories Company seeks a Customer Service Manager for their Garden City Long Island location. 

The ideal candidate will have a complete knowledge of Order Processing and the ability to work in Garden City Long Island.

•    Receiving and uploading EDI orders into our computer system on a daily basis
•    Processing EDI orders for backorders and for production
•    Creating UPC Codes for new items
•    Creating bills of lading for outgoing shipments
•    Routing processes and vendor specifications for routing for each account 
•     (needs to read and memorize vendor shipping manuals for each customer)
•    Create ASNs for outgoing shipments
•    If not creating the ASN, following up each evening before closing to ensure all ASNs were sent (back up support)
•    Create Customer Shipping Chart, each evening updated with new information by purchase order number
•    Log, research, dispute and follow up on customer chargebacks pertaining to the purchase orders in question (ie. late ASN, label quality and/or placement, shortages on orders, etc)
•    Send monthly chargeback update reports with $ figures to senior management (ie. showing where we recouped our money, still waiting for answers, denied on the dispute)
•    Support customer service staff by lending a helping hand on returns, answering phones, or any other office task 
•    Create retail price tickets for overseas suppliers and warehouse
•    Send retail price tickets and other packing materials to suppliers overseas, keeping charts with dates and tracing packages to suppliers until they are received
•    Keep lines of communication open with NY production team regarding receiving factory orders, price lists, and packing materials
