Digital Designer

Leading Footwear and Apparel Brand located in Orange County is currently looking for a Digital Designer to assist their team! 

This position will conceptualize, execute and design digital assets for the company., such as, email campaigns, site banners and graphics, digital marketing ads, and landing pages to support both Ecommerce and brick and mortar store traffic and sales. The ideal candidate will understand best practices for digital marketing design and be able to present their creative designs to the Marketing team through excellent written and verbal communication skills, while adapting these designs based on input from several departments. 


  • Create digital graphic assets and web content for the company site (homepage banners, category banners, and content landing pages) 
  • Design email blasts (promotional, events, transactional and more) 
  • Design digital banner ads and social media graphics as needed 
  • Develop innovative and creative ideas for digital creative’s 
  • Design and execute creative ideas developed by self, as well as other on the team, as required for any media, ensuring the expression of the brand 
  • Manage process for projects to ensure proper review time is given and deadlines are met 
  • Collaborate closely with various departments, peers and management on design elements 
  • Select relevant images from internal and vendor databases to fit the goal of the digital creative and more 
  • Schedule, manage and prioritize digital graphic design pieces 
  • Maintain web graphic standards and brand guidelines in all creative designs 
  • Update website content and set-up scheduling in backend interface for homepage banners, category banners and landing page creative to coincide with marketing campaigns 
  • Effectively communicates both in verbal and written form regarding design concepts 
  • Provide design support for traditional marketing as needed (included item such as direct mail, signs and billboards) 
  • Maintain and continuously improve brand guidelines 


  • Demonstrates high degree of professionalism in communication, attitude and teamwork with customers, peers and management 
  • Demonstrates high level of quality of work, attendance and appearance 
  • Adheres to all Company Policies & Procedures and Safety Regulations 
  • Adheres to local, state and federal laws 
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management 


  • Degree in Graphic Design 
  • 3+ years of Graphic Design experience in a retail or creative agency environment. 
  • Demonstrate illustrative, layout and typography skills through Adobe CC: Photoshop. Illustrator, InDesign, Dreamweaver 
  • Working knowledge of HTML a plus 
  • Knowledge of industry web standards, layout principles and aesthetic design concepts 
  • Experience working within brand guidelines 
  • Must be extremely well organized and work well under pressure 
  • Ability to meet multiple deadlines 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook 
  • Ability to work extended hours/days during peak business initiatives
