Digital Marketing Manager – Affiliate Marketing

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

Digital Marketing Channel Coordination: Affiliate Marketing

• Execute and strategize the Affiliate program to drive growth in publishers, traffic, revenue and ROAS • Coordinate affiliate partner campaigns – Ensuring brand standards are met while tracking positive program growth

• Research, evaluate and recommend new affiliate opportunities for both Domestic and Global expansion

• Own the digital asset coordination and tracking for campaign execution

• Maximize visibility to program during promotional campaigns by having constant and unique communication with all affiliates

• Utilize unique marketing tactics to pitch campaign ideas to top publishers

• Establish and continuously optimize reporting, including weekly reviews with supervisor and in-depth larger monthly output to greater team

• Handle and resolve all transaction errors, owning the invoice and reconciliation process

• Maintain strong communication with all partners/publishers to ensure brand standards are met

• Conduct Affiliate recruitment and nourishment, growing click and revenue active publisher count


• Share and communicate all upcoming promotions and forecasted traffic to vendors

• Coordinate all asset creation from request to vendor hand-off

• Ensure accurate spend pacing, with positive ROAS and program growth

• Request, review and deliver all metadata in conjunction with SEO consultant

• Drive SEO best practices with support of cross-functional team

• Manage all communication with Display advertising vendor

• Drive all agencies to constantly improve and deliver on the highest quality of work

• Assist in Paid Search, Paid Social and various Digital Marketing services when needed

Reporting and Budgeting:

• Analyze, monitor and communicate performance of Affiliate, Retargeting and SEO initiatives

• Develop, create and optimize granular reporting for output to the larger Digital Marketing team

• Create reports to determine effectiveness of campaigns

• Own and manage promotion reporting with visual recaps, working with agencies and Ecommerce Analyst

• Consistently A/B test creative, landing pages and placements for consistent program growth

• Analyze campaign effectiveness and recommend actionable insights to improve program and grow revenue

• Research, evaluate and recommend campaign opportunities

• Work with digital vendors to constantly drive campaign optimization

• Contribute to and execute on a long-term testing plan and report results to the broader team

Campaign Management:

• Manage on-time delivery of assets to vendors/agencies

• Lead and execute the creation and submission of digital marketing projects (SEO, Display/Retargeting, Shopping Feeds, Affiliate)

• Keep agencies informed of key objectives, priorities, timelines and budget parameters; provide marketing promotional materials and deliver briefs

• Take lead to coordinate digital asset needs related to site flips, catalog flips, special online sales events and promotions

• Maintain YoY history/details on promotions launched, run dates and feedback from Customer Service for future planning and reference Performs other duties as assigned Education and

Experience Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field (Marketing, Business) highly preferred

• 3 to 5 years of experience with Digital Marketing and Web Analytics

• 3 to 5 years of demonstrated digital marketing experience, including a track record of driving digital marketing performance (both tactically and with agency/vendor)

• Experience analyzing digital performance metrics (ROAS, CPA, CVR, CTR, etc.)

• Proficiency in Affiliate Marketing Platforms, Web Display Partners and other Digital Marketing Initiatives

• Proven ability to create and execute innovative marketing campaigns

• Excellent campaign management, time management and problem-solving skills

• Understanding of buyer cycle, funnels and new buyer optimization

• Consumer-focused with desire to create positive customer experience via digital marketing; ability to understand from consumer’s perspective Technical Knowledge and Skills:

• Proficiency with Affiliate Marketing, SEO, Retargeting/Remarketing

• Proficiency in AdWords, Bing-Ads, Video Advertising, Data Management Tools

• Proficient in Google Analytics, Omniture/Adobe Analytics, Google Search Console and other reporting tools

• Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
