Digital Marketing Manager

Our client, a technology start up is seeking an experienced, creative Digital Marketing Manager to join our growing organization. In this position, you will be responsible for the management of all digital platforms, ensuring the success of our product launches and business objectives. You will 
combine your knowledge of the web and digital marketing with your business acumen to increase awareness of the brand and drive sales. 

This is a freelance to hire or direct hire opportunity for the right candidate.

Responsibilities 

  • Manage company websites (Consumer, Investor, Ambassador) including all images, tools, and content 
  • Oversee management of all digital channels (including content updates, design, and user experience) 
  • Conduct and report analysis of site and social media traffic 
  • Create, maintain, and implement digital marketing and editorial calendars 
  • Update and manage Corporate listings (Wikipedia, Crunchbase), Email newsletter, and Social Media channels 
  • Plan and execute all digital marketing campaigns, including SEO/SEM, Email, Social Media, Targeted Display Advertising and other D2C initiatives 
  • Develop and maintain Digital Marketing Playbook 
  • Define and implement quarterly plans based on product launches and sales projections 
  • Create and manage editorial/content calendars 
  • Collaborate with production to define and create engaging and relevant posts for our brand and audience 
  • Establish, monitor and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns, and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs) 
  • Identify trends and insights, and optimize spend and performance 
  • Utilize strong analytical ability to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touch points 
  • Develop a website traffic plan and create goals and benchmarks to meet revenue forecast 
  • Develop, evaluate and oversee the implementation of A/B testing protocols and procedures 
  • Communicate with our marketing team about digital marketing initiatives and results 
  • Manage Monthly KPI Report 

Requirements 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or related field required 
  • 3+ years’ experience leading and managing SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media and/or display advertising campaigns 
  • Excellent grasp of social media, website metrics and digital best practices 
  • Demonstrable experience with email marketing, lead generation and SEO 
  • Experience in optimizing earned and owned media 
  • Experience with A/B creative testing 
  • Knowledge of website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, NetInsight, Omniture, WebTrends) 
  • Working knowledge of ad serving tools (e.g., DART, Atlas) 
  • Experience in setting up and optimizing Google Adwords campaigns 
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking 
  • Experience with technology start-ups a plus
