Digital Marketing Specialist

Our client, a high end beauty company is looking for a talented and driven Digital Marketing Specialist.

As part of the team, the Digital Marketing Specialist is to play a critical role developing the digital marketing strategy and be responsible for online marketing campaigns, including but not limited to email, social media, search, and other marketing initiatives to drive business growth.

You must be proficiency in web advertising, social media campaigns, web analytics, e-mail marketing and search engine optimization and experience with customer acquisition for e-commerce, are a must.

You must have an acute sense of critical thinking, proven experience delivering effective and innovative digital campaigns, and a keen interest in the beauty industry.

JOB DUTIES

• Lead the execution of campaigns for multiple brands aimed at driving customer acquisition.

• Create, manage, analyze, optimize and report on campaigns including SEM, PPC, SEO, CRO, email and social.

• Manage the marketing campaign calendar, identifying cadence to drive new, high-potential campaigns and optimizing our marketing mix

• Managing digital agency relationships, day-to-day production, as well as campaign budgets and schedules.

• Determine and execute testing methodologies and reporting requirements to support paid advertising channels.

• Monitor ROI and KPIs for all digital marketing campaigns, proactively making recommendations to improve programs, processes, and results.

• Research, define, implement & measure digital initiatives to support company’s broader campaigns to achieve the specific objectives of the organization overall.

• Brainstorming new and creative digital marketing strategies.

• Provide quality assurance for all marketing department work.

 • Develop, optimize and maintain digital design workflow processes.

 • Continuously monitor new developments in digital marketing and social media and proactively make recommendations for implementation of new programs and best practices.

QUALIFICATIONS

 • 3+ years of experience as a digital media specialist or digital marketing manager.

 • Direct experience developing, managing, and tracking customer acquisition campaigns for e-commerce.

• Keen interest in beauty industry, e-commerce, and digital marketing.

• Excellent analytical, organization, and time-management skills with high attention to detail.

 • High degree of professionalism in communication, attitude and teamwork.

 • Ability to work independently, juggle multiple projects, and deliver on tight deadlines.

Professional Skills & Qualifications

• 2+ years' direct experience with Google AdWords, Google analytics, paid search, paid advertising in social media, display advertising and search engine optimization.

 • Practical experience with marketing automation software and other web applications including Shopify, MailChimp/iContact, and Wordpress.

• Comfortable learning new technologies quickly as-needed. Additional qualifications (not required) a plus:

• Experience with Shopify is a big plus.

• Beauty and cosmetic industry experience

• Familiarity with HTML/CSS.

• Copywriting, offline media, and agency experience

 MINIMUM EDUCATION

•  Bachelor's degree in marketing-related field of study or equivalent work experience.

 MINIMUM EXPERIENCE

• 3+ years of relevant experience in beauty and/or marketing industry

• Computer Skills: 2+ years' direct experience with Google AdWords, Google analytics, paid search, paid advertising in social media, display advertising and search engine optimization.

• Practical experience with marketing automation software and other web applications including Shopify, MailChimp/iContact, and Wordpress.

• Equipment Use: Copy machines, fax machines, calculators and typewriters, personal computers and computer terminals.

• Language Skills: Ability to effectively communicate, both oral and written, at all levels internally and externally.

• Reasoning Ability: Ability to evaluate, select and implement the appropriate action to address each situation including those wherein the outcome is uncertain.

• Ability to achieve a favorable outcome while providing value to the customer.

•Processes and assimilates information both strategically and tactically.
