Digital Marketing Specialist

Our well-known client in the outdoor lifestyle industry seeks a digital marketing specialist. This will start as a contract but could convert to a fulltime role for the right fit. They are located in Oregon City, and this would be an onsite role (possible remote flexibility for 1-2 days/week). 

This job focuses on digital marketing, including content and copy edits, social media, digital assets, etc.  

Job Responsibilities: 
Manages all aspects of social media marketing platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.)
Develops social media strategies, defines KPIs and goals, tracks performance and reports out monthly 
Monitors competitors social media and digital marketing activities and reports out as needed
Continually seeks new technology and introduces social media evolutions 
Manages and moderates their forum and other outside forum activity; may also coordinate with other internal resources to facilitate activity
Drives outside digital content through network of social media influencers in conjunction with campaigns and strategies; maintains a strong network to draw from      
Works with eCommerce Manager to create and administer email strategy
Develops look and feel of emails in accordance with defined strategy; may work with creative team to produce graphic assets 
Defines and implements look and feel of website with eCommerce Manager in accordance with position and campaign strategies
Establish and maintain a detailed digital marketing calendar and content roadmap 
Tracks and analyzes website performance with Google Analytics in collaboration with eCommerce Manager and makes recommendations on potential adjustments for optimization      
Works with Retail Marketing Manager to develop content for quarterly dealer newsletters
Assists eCommerce Manager and Retail Marketing Manager in execution of digital B2B platforms
Ensures brand alignment and proper brand representation of all digital marketing platforms 
Works with creative team to develop assets and copy; may also lean on Advertising Agency and/or other outside vendors to produce assets
Work closely and effectively with non-Marketing internal groups such as IT, Sales, Customer Service and Operations to execute initiatives  
Presents pertinent information to team and organization as needed     
Communicates clearly and in a timely manner with customers
Provide a positive image of the company when working with co-workers, customers and dealers. 
May also represent the brand and company at trade shows and events

 
Qualifications: 
College degree in Marketing or related field preferred or comparable sales/marketing experience
2-5 years of experience in the marketing field, specifically in digital marketing
Expertise with social media marketing, in direct relation to business activities.  Platforms should include Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, SnapChat, Pinterest, and LinkedIn
Proven track record of successfully producing and implementing content for a brand website   
Experience developing digital strategies in alignment with greater brand mission
Experience analyzing Google Analytics performance data and leveraging to develop and shift strategies 
Some ability to read and write HTML code preferred
Previous experience managing Wordpress is preferred, but not required.
Experience moderating and/or managing forums a plus
Strong ability to collaborate and encourage cross-functional efforts with internal and external resources
Communicate effectively with co-workers, superiors, the general public, and others
Works very well in teams and demonstrates ability to coordinate group efforts 
Knowledge of standard office administration practices and procedures, including business correspondence formatting and the use of standard office equipment
Set priorities, meet deadlines and follow up on assignments with minimum direction
Demonstrates exceptional time management and multi-tasking abilities
Interpret and implement policies and procedures related to the department
Analyze and resolve office administrative and procedural problems
Must have the ability to exercise initiative, independent judgment and discretion
Knowledge of PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Access
