Director, Field Sales (Salons) - GREATER BOSTON AREA

NOTE: this position covers the Greater Boston Area - applicants MUST be willing to travel up to 75% (mostly day trips) AND already lives in the area as their home-base

Client Overview: 

Our client is an iconic beauty brand offering natural, plant based, high-quality products across Haircare & Skincare. Their products can be found in most high-end salons across North America, and at their beauty academies/retail stores. 

Position Overview:

In this role, you will manage salon sales and lead the field sales team (6-8 people) within the Greater Boston Area. You will be tasked to achieve incremental sales growth across channels within the region. This report into an Executive Director.


  • Responsible for partnering with manager to execute field sales strategy

  • Grow the business strategically by leading your team to open sustainable new business doors

  • Deliver positive results against sales targets & manage P&L 

  • Analyze and understand the “why” behind the results and formulate action plans on how to accelerate sales growth

  • Develop collaborative business relationships with existing customers and potential business partners and act as key negotiator and communicator for territory

  • Review and execute accountability standards and benchmarks for territory sales team; deliver timely and accurate forecasting for established territory

Key Qualifications:

  • 8+ years' of field sales experience (beauty is preferred) 

  • Prior management experience (3+ years managing a small team)

  • Willingness to travel up to 75% (most travel will be day trips w/in 2-3 hour radius)

  • Entrepreneurial spirit - you can make decisions as if the business were your own

  • Refined communication, leadership and organizational skills - you will have exposure to senior level leadership!
