Director, Global Strategic Insights & Analytics

Position Overview:

In this role, you would be responsible for managing all aspects of integrated marketing communications for the beauty business. You would also be responsible for market research, business analytics, including consumer, shopper, e-commerce, and professional support for the beauty business.


•Oversee all aspects of integrated marketing communications from conception to execution; create highly strategic business plans to achieve the company’s overall objectives and marketing strategy
•Conduct research audits and learning plans to identify knowledge gaps, prioritize,  and address key business issues;  develop annual market research plans aligned with annual business plans
•Direct insight generation, including activation, media planning support, and campaign monitoring;  create strategy for U.S. and Canada and determine the relative value of these claims to the business

•Lead consumer foundational work, cross-customer shopper insights, and category knowledge; identify and address customer opportunities; evaluate brand architecture activation, including packaging and shelf set organization
• Follow GSIA principles and integrate best practices for global standards; remain current on emerging industry trends; provide highly strategic recommendations to further understand the consumer and enhance marketing plans

Key Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree; master’s degree or equivalent experience in market research, social sciences or statistics preferred
• Minimum 12+ years consumer/shopper insights experience; beauty experience preferred

• Minimum 5 years Sr Manager/Associate Director experience or 2+ years Director experience in market research

•Expertise in GSIA global competencies, technical market research, ad hoc research techniques, and syndicated business analysis; understanding of eCommerce and DTC preferred
•Ability to travel international/domestic 15-20%
