Director of Creative Services - CGI studio

Job Description:
Role: Director of Creative Services (for a Digital Imaging Post-Production Studio)
Based in Atlanta, GA -- Relocation is available! 

Position Overview:
As Director of Creative Services, you will be directly responsible for the creative growth of our digital imaging and animation teams and our studio as a whole. You will manage, mentor and inspire our creative teams, and ensure the consistent delivery of exceptional quality campaigns and programs for our diverse list of Fortune 1000 clients and agencies. You will also continuously grow our extended network of freelance and contract talent to complement our FTE staff, in order to support the fastest possible startup time for new accounts.You will have deep experience serving both brand-direct and advertising agency clients. You will bring high-level post-production-team organization and optimization experience including mentoring and skill development. You will have excellent C-level sales presentation, RFP response and complex multi-media campaign development skills that help win and build major accounts. Budget management and creative brief development are critical to the success of this senior management role. 

• Recruit, develop and manage a creative bench of production and post-production professionals including animators, editors, CGI artists, directors, motion designers, colorists, audio post engineers and producers 
• Work closely with and inspire creative teams
• Support sales and marketing with client presentations and creative briefs
• Recruit and hire full and part-time artists
• Continually evaluate and critique to ensure creative meets or exceeds client expectations
• Work closely with producers and designers to maximize the efficient flow of all projects from concept to delivery
• Collaborate with our brand design studio creative director to streamline a fully integrated 
branding and digital imaging product offering 
• Have a deep understanding of post-production services and processes
• Heavy emphasis on experience with VFX design and platforms
• Create projected hours estimates (per each category of resources) to confirm project scopes support project estimates
• Assign creative teams to ensure the highest quality, most efficient production of each campaign or program

• Must be well versed in post-production services and creative workflows
• Deep understanding of client goals from creative to business
• Excellent writing, speaking and presentation skills
• Must be a strategic creative thinker  

• Minimum of 10 years of creative services production and post-production experience
• Proven management skills
• Create and implement a studio creative-direction strategy based on current industry demands and trends that ensure the company is constantly competitive and relevant
• The ideal candidate will also have solid hands-on digital artist, motion design, editing, CGI and VFX experience
