Director of Marketing - Beauty

Must have beauty or fashion industry experience.

Location: Atlanta

Client seeking a Director of Marketing to oversee B2B marketing communications including copywriting, branding, public relations, print advertising, trade shows, seminars and events, sales collateral materials, and market research management


  • Oversee coordination and execution of product launch calendar as it relates to marketing materials needed at each milestone
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to influence present and future products by determining and evaluating current and future market trends
  • Provide short and long-term market forecasts and reports by directing market research collection, analysis, and interpretation of market data
  • Develop customer-specific sales and marketing programs to support Business Development team at sell-in and sell-through 
  • Work with SVP of Marketing and Communications to develop, maintain and prioritize master department calendar
  • Partner with Director of Creative Services on all creative content and imagery needs
  • Partner with Director of Consumer Brands & Licensing to leverage social and digital components for B2B campaigns
  • Complete marketing department operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results
  • Develop marketing staff by providing information, educational opportunities, and experiential growth opportunities
  • Assist with budget tracking for marketing department
  • Assist with tradeshow timing and project management


  • Bachelor’s degree in related field required.  MBA or advanced degree is preferred.
  • 8+ years of marketing experience; 3 of those in a management or supervisory role
  • Experience in the Cosmetic and Beauty Industry 
  • Strong leadership ability supported by authentic skills, experience and a proven pattern of success
  • Ability to execute and lead through change in a growth-oriented organization
  • Copywriting experience a must, along with proven track record in content development, and brand consistency
  • Strong project management skills and ability to create and execute plans; organization, prioritization and deadline oriented
  • Experience and passion for customers, delivering great experiences and building high-performing teams
  • Fastidious and process focused
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • International marketing experience a plus
  • Experience with Salesforce a plus
