Director of Product Media Planning (Adtech)
Position Summary
We are searching for a Director of Product Media Planning with a proven track record of enabling cross-functional teams, in order to build a Marketing Intelligence Engine platform. You will bring deep knowledge of media planning and optimization, and acute interest to apply machine learning to advertising campaigns. You will work closely with cross-functional teams of engineering, design, data scientists and marketing to help the world’s largest brands achieve peak performance with their media investments.
Job Responsibilities
- Lead the definition of a product vision and communicate its narrative within the organization through short-term and long-term roadmaps
- Serve as subject matter expert, contributing practitioner, thought leader on media planning and campaign optimization
- Drive innovation through the identification of unmet industry needs and disruption opportunities in Martech/Adtech
- Synthesize research from agency end users, and external partners to balance big ideas with day-to-day feature requests
- Lead a globally distributed and matrixed scrum team
- Collaborate with data scientists and product team subject matter experts to build deep integrations with the Marketing Intelligence Engine platform
- Partner with product marketing to bring product features to market
- Identify and define KPIs to drive success and quickly identify failures
Desired Skills & Experience
- Experience working as a product manager in high performing, cross functional teams that have shipped global products at scale
- Knowledge of media planning processes and advertising analytics
- Experience managing products through the full lifecycle: strategy, development, launch, optimization, sunset
- Knowledge of marketing mix modeling and cross-channel campaign optimization
- Strong team motivational skills and ability to influence without authority
- Experience working with Agile methodologies
