Domestic Logistics Specialist

Our client, a travel accessories manufacturer, is looking for a Domestic Logistics Specialist to join their team! Support customers and organization with the end goal to ensure the timely receipt and delivery of all domestic customer sales orders. The Domestic Logistics Specialist will support all domestic channels (Retail and Wholesale). Primary focus is to coordinate the timely fulfillment of all customer orders and receipts of inventory into our 3PL’s.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintaining positive relations with 3PL working with logistic managers

• Conduct all 3PL transactions in Sage 100 – Invoicing and Packing Lists

• Monitoring inventory at 3PL

• Maintain job closing process (weekly, Monthly, and Quarterly)

• Ensure customer orders are properly received, processed and delivered

• Demonstrate responsiveness ownership, accuracy, and integrity in all communication

• Identifies and resolves problems with some supervision and escalates problems where appropriate

• Lead the analysis and provide statistical information on the tracking of product shipments, returns, and inventory

• Serve as a backup for the department as needed.

• Perform other work related assignments as requested by Manager to assist customer support

JOB REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS

• 4 + order management experience required

• Strong analytic background required

• Strong Excel skills required

• Inventory management & planning systems experience strongly desired

• Must be highly organized and process-oriented

• Must possess strong problem-solving skills related to people and inventory

• Must possess strong interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with multiple departments

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills required

• Excellent customer relation skills required

• Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment criminal background check
