Email Marketing Manager - Freelance

Our client, a creative agency has an immediate need for an Email Marketing Manager. This is a freelance position onsite with potential to extend for the right candidate.

You will be embedded within our clients digital video/streaming content marketing team and be the individual we depend on, day-to-day, to ensure these campaigns are set up for success. You are there to ensure the client and the agency teams have what they need to collaborate and ultimately deliver on the business ask.

CAMPAIGN MANAGEMENT Develop complete marketing strategy (marketing mix) and a creative brief for all campaigns, considering multiple data points Including careful consideration of information from product managers, campaign history, previous results, product information, messaging points, creative considerations, testing ideas, and legal requirements Manage gathering all programming assets from studios and networks from the client programming lead to include with briefs. Serve as the liaison for creative routing between the agency and client-side stakeholders; including tracking and compiling of all comments/changes during review rounds Share completed briefs with the agency in enough time to deliver an excellent product Offer strategic insights including your own specific and actionable perspective to the creative as needed in order to guide internal stakeholders and the agency to the best final deliverables Attend weekly status calls with agencies for current activity and pending deliverables for projects Work with internal client stakeholders, agency partners and ESP to provide approval on all final emails (html) and email list counts before deployment

DATA COORDINATION Partner with internal client teams for customer list request generation and development Consult with client-side business owner to understand the request and attending review sessions and QC-ing data Manage timeliness and team expectations for data delivery

CLIENT MANAGEMENT Serve as primary day-to-day contact for client team for questions, results, requests and issues regarding video marketing projects Schedule and manage all creative workflow between agencies, client Video Marketing team and other internal client departments Solicit and track necessary approvals and feedback on all video marketing campaigns and facilitate feedback within the agency Represent client product interests and direction in creative review and program workflow meetings Step in as full back-up for any client time out of the office
