Email Operations Account Lead

Account Supervisor, Email Operations Lead is a dedicated role embedded with clients, leading the email channel. We are looking for a self-sufficient worker who embraces challenges and remains composed, assured and effective under pressure. This role will be multifaceted, and successful candidates are able to demonstrate strategic thinking and creative problem-solving in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment. An ever-maintained balance between internal team-management and external client-facing prowess is a must. In this partnership, Thesis works to provide operational excellence to our client focusing on all things digital marketing, but with the focus on the email digital production process. You love process, detail, and accuracy–Every link, KPI, and client interaction is the responsibility of you and your team. Proactive in preventing spin, chaos, or conflict within teams and/or clients. As a worker, you will: ? Successfully juggle people management and client needs to enable operational excellence serving our largest partnership. ? Lead a team of project managers, account managers and producers to provide the client with top-notch email channel excellence. ? Be the staff and client go-to for conflict resolution, process improvements, and political challenges to keep pushing the work and partnership forward. ? Coach, direct, mentor, and challenge staff to exceed client expectations while fostering individual professional growth. ? Proactively kick off projects to keep Thesis one-step ahead of client needs. ? Resource your team to manage complex email campaigns and trigger programs. ? Understand the complexities of an ESP in an enterprise setting to enable strategic alignment ? Handle incidents with grace and accuracy. ? Sensitively flag risks to teams and stakeholders as needed to prevent conflict. ? Communicate clearly orally and in writing to effect change while maintaining kind approach ? Identify, suggest and implement areas of opportunity within production process. ? Identify, plan and implement process guardrails to lead to long-term improvement and increased productivity. ? Communicate with vendor/internal partners to ensure alignment on project requirements and deliverables–drive reporting on operational compliance and risk. ? Partner with cross-functional teams to drive projects forward, tracking completion and escalating to stakeholders when necessary. ? Provide project status updates/recaps to key stakeholders. ? Identify key information to be upleveled to Thesis leadership as needed. As for experience, you need: ? Bachelor's degree, preferably in Advertising/Marketing, Communications or a related field. ? 5+ years of project management or email production experience, preferably in a retail/commerce environment. ? Experience with email marketing, ESPs and email marketing technology preferred. ? 3-5 years managing large teams, including middle management tier.Experience with email marketing, ESPs and email marketing technology preferred. ? Compassionate & direct management approach. ? Strong oral and written presentation skills. ? Proven analytical skills and problem-solving ability paired with meticulous attention to detail. ? Comfort with learning and using content management systems and project management software. ? Self-motivated and proactive team spirit who takes ownership of and accountability for projects. ? Ability to communicate complex issues to a wide array of internal stakeholders. ? Attention to detail and experience with quality assurance.
