Tasks include:
TECHNICAL SUPPORT

  • Data entry: Work within PLM system to create RDs, input orders, check in references received into systems.
  • Data entry: Work with EXCEL to input data, merge/create/consolidate charts, consolidate data

PHYSCIAL SUPPORT

  • Sample Swatch Organization: sorting, checking in, and filing reference swatches and tailoring numerical order and/or fabric complex and/or design team
  • Package Preparation: scanning, copying, cutting, and preparing packages to be sent to suppliers and/or passed to cross-functional team members
  • Presentation Preparation: Setting up or breaking down working tools such as presentation boards or counter/regional sourcing boxes for ongoing organizational support.
  • Library Organization: sorting, grouping, and filing reference cards by fabric construction/content/yarn/trim (type) and/or supplier (alphabetical) ; cleaning out library to make room for new collections, which could included preparing old boxes for donation, labeling new files and boxes *Ideal candidate would have some understand of fabric knowledge to be best at organizing by fabric type and be most helpful, we can also try to educate and guide this if someone is open to learning / has interest.

SKILLS:

  • Organized/detail oriented, accurate data entry, efficient, smart, fast-learner, ability to multi-task
  • Eager to take on additional tasks/projects, ability to manage multiple deadlines, and effectively prioritize
  • Interest or knowledge of fashion/textile terminology (bonus!)
  • Proficient in Word/Excel/PLM
