Entertainment/Lifestyle Brand in Santa Monica gives an editorial voice to the brand by creating authentic digital content that engages audiences through compelling subject matter and high-quality visual appeal. This mission is particularly challenging in media landscape crowded by increased competition from streaming services, social media, and brands competing for our consumer’s time. To remain a dominant force in content marketing Brands seeks an innovative Gaming Program Planning Specialist to tell our Brand’s story on digital platforms who has a proven track record of creating compelling content experiences and finding the right audiences. The US Gaming Program Planning Specialist is responsible for Gaming content distribution strategy and publishing across Brands network of owned & operated platforms: web editorial, web video, social media. It works in close collaboration with Advertising, Production, Social Content, Community, Communications, Marketing, and Insights/Analytics to create digital video programming and social campaign strategies, content marketing & distribution plans, and deliver against Brands Gaming audience growth objectives. Core responsibilities Oversee Day-To-Day Gaming Program Planning

• Create integrated content marketing plans for Brands Gaming events, athlete projects, and 3rd party events: lead-in/flanker content, advertising campaign, social content, engagement tactics

• Co-create Brands Gaming content slate with Production, Marketing, Communications inputs

• Maintain the Gaming content publishing calendar for cross-departmental use

• Commission interactive content experiences on website that deepen audience engagement

• Collaborate with Commercial Partnerships to execute branded content (FTC compliance) Social Channel Management of 

• Publish content to Brands Gaming Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, Twitch

• Write social post copy, respond to comments, engage the community, interact with brands/athletes

• Implement channel growth tactics that increase video views, time spent, and engagement

• Ensure Brands Gaming events and athletes are represented on social & owned channels

• Create a clear value proposition for each Brands Gaming channel 

Requirements 
• 3+ years operating social accounts for a major brand, team, or media company 
• Marketing minded: you’ve used social media as a marketing tool to build a brand, foster community, build audience for an event or live stream 
• Social media savage: experience posting on all social media platforms including Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, Twitch, reddit and the boards; you’re passionate about engaging with a diverse audience of gamers 
• Gaming audience focused: as a Gamer yourself, you understand what fans and players expect from brands and can tailor your Programming strategies to meet (and exceeded!) those expectations 
• Collaborative problem solver: you find the most effective & simple solutions that drive tangible results for fans, players, andBrands marketing efforts 
• Operations nut: gameplay live streaming, social media optimization, consumer data collection, video specs education requirements BA/BS Degree from top university/college
