Golf Lab Technician

Duties:
The nature of the work is focused on research and development of products from conception to retail to meet the needs of accounts and consumers. Sets up and completes complex lab experiments (from sample preparation to completion) Analyzes data, prepares written report and communicates results to customer in most cases. For more technically complex requests, prevides data to test engineers for analysis and reports. Assists in developmnet improvements in test protocols, data presentation, and lab instrumentation. Supports lab manager by working with customers as they submit test requests and by prioritizing and distributing testing workload to other technicians and lab engineers. Provides leadership and training to other lab technicians in day-to-day operations of lab suych as testing, basic maintanence and calibration of lab equipment, and ordering supplies. 

Skills:
Inside Technical: May be required to perform a wide variety of physical tasks which are generally basic, repetitive, and routine in nature. May be required to sit or stand for long periods of time, in addition to being required to walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, push, or pull. May be frequently required to reach with hands and arms, and use hands to finger, handle, or feel small and medium sized components and exert force or lift up to 50 pounds. May be required to work with toxic or caustic chemicals, and be exposed to fumes and gases, airborne particles, and RF energy. May be called upon to perform physical and quality checks requiring sufficient visual acuity to identify quality flaws, distinguish colors on small components, or utilize microscopes. May be required to work with or near small mechanical parts or technical equipment/machinery so they may be subject to higher noise levels, vibration, and there may be a risk of electrical shock. Education:
Typically requires a high school diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 4 years relevant work experience Note: One of the following alternatives may be accepted: Bachelors degree + 1 yr or Associates degree + 2 yrs.
