Head of Communications

In this position, you would be responsible for directing communication initiatives, marketing activities, crisis communications, community relations, social media strategy, and global PR expansion.
• Direct all aspects of the PR strategy, including identifying key messages to generate interest and driving messages to evolve over time
• Maintain strong relationships with PR agencies in the US and identify global PR agencies to facilitate international presence
• Establish the social media strategy across Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and Linkedin and implement media campaigns around product launches, global expansion launches, and current events
• Develop a crisis communications plan and manage thought leadership opportunities through OpEd placements, conferences, and event speaking opportunities
• Create press releases, pitches, and media lists and ensure brand messaging is consistent and cohesive across communications
• 10+ years’ PR/Communications experience with leading consumer brands
• Established connections with key influencers in health, business, and consumer press and blogs
• Proven track record of creating highly successful media campaigns and in building strong social media presence
