Help Desk/Technical Support (Contract-to-Hire)
Fantastic consumer electronics company is looking to hire a Help Desk Technican/Technical Customer Support to their team. This is a contract-to-hire position. You will be responsible for answering technical issues and offer advice to incoming customer calls. You should have experience working with a variety of clientele and remain calm under pressure. In this role you are the first point of contact via phone and email. A general call will entail performing remote troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques and determining the best solution based on the information you have. You will then walk the customer through the resolution process and if need be escalating the issue to the next tier of support.
- 1-3 years of experience as a help desk technician or technical customer support
- Strong understanding of remote control for computer systems and mobile devices
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Customer service focused with a calm demeanor
- Bachelor’s Degree is a plus
