Help Desk Technician

Position Overview:

A leading global staffing provider located in Melville, LongIsland is looking for an internal Help Desk Technician to support localand remote staff. This position will report to the Vice President of IT.

 

Responsibilities:

         Function at multiple capacities in a first leveltechnical support role to internal users and remotely to users in externaloffice locations

         Diagnose, troubleshoot, resolve or escalate workstationproblems in a competent and professional manner

         Support all end users with CRM applicationrequests/issues

         Install, troubleshoot, computer hardware andsoftware for all employees

         Diagnose, troubleshoot and escalate local andremote office LAN issues

         Maintain support requests within the corporateticketing system

 

Key Qualifications:

         Knowledge of MS Office, Outlook, Acrobat,Antivirus Software

         Self-motivated and energetic

         Ability to quickly diagnose problems andeffectively communicate solutions in a user-friendly language.

         Exceptional customer service and phone skills.

         Excellent problem solver

         One year of IT experience in a technical supportor break/fix role.

         Familiarity with network topology

Pluses:

·        Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, Android, IOS

·        Experience working with remote users

·        Customer service experience

 

Salary $12-$16hr (D.O.E.)
