HR Benefits Specialist

Benefits Specialist responsible for administering day-to-daygroup benefit programs, assist in planning and recommending new programs andinitiate improvements, and serve as point of contact for internal and externalcustomers.

Responsibilities Include:

-         Provide customer service and serve as primarycontact for benefit inquiries

-         Effectively communicate benefit plans andchanges

-         Assist in the enrollment process for all benefitplans

-         Work closely with payroll to ensure accurateinvoice reconciliation

-         Collaborate with marketing to ensure that allbenefit material is up to date

-         Plan administration

-         Assist in benefit plan audits

-         Keep up to date on benefit trends and complianceissues

-         Assist in the management of the benefit planrenewal process

-         Coordinate time off requests, FMLA anddisability leaves


Qualifications:

-         A Bachelor’s degree required

-         At least two years of benefit experience

-          Excellentinterpersonal skills; the ability to communicate effectively verbally andin-writing

-         The ideal candidate will be effective workingboth independently and as a team member with superior customer focus

-          Experience facilitating benefit orientationsand open enrollment information meetings

-          Excellentknowledge in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint

-          High volumecustomer service experience in an HR/Benefits role

-          Demonstrated knowledge of health and welfarebenefits administration and policies
