Human Resource Talent Manager

Position Overview:

In this role you will be responsible for working in tandem with the HR Director on all internal and external talent management. You will be carrying out responsibilities in talent acquisition, training, performance management, onboarding, succession planning, and applicant tracking.


  • Talent Acquisition
    • Collaborate with management on job specifications, duties, qualifications, and skills
    • Come up with creative and unique ways to source candidates and fill open positions
    • Manage and coordinate temporary staffing needs
    • Recruit for open positions, screen resumes, conduct first round interviews, and extend offers
    • Source candidates through various channels such as recruiters, job boards, referrals, etc.
    • Attend networking events to connect and build a pipeline of candidates
  • Onboarding
    • Schedule new hire orientation, meet-n-greats, training, and store visits
    • Manage full cycle onboarding all new hires, ensuring all necessary paperwork is sent and completed
    • Conduct 30 and 90 day touch base meetings with new hires
  • Performance Management
    • Assist is the execution of the annual appraisal process
    • Implement and manAge performance appraisal system
    • Monitor performance evaluation program
  • Training
    • Use direction from HR Director and corporate office to create a training program
    • Partner with managers to identify their team’s development and training needs and outline a development plan
  • Succession Planning
    • Work with HR Director to outline succession planning process
    • Identify and develop the skills and abilities of employees to fill key positions within the company
  • Applicant Tracking
    • Research and launch ATS
    • Update new ATS with prior applicant information

 Key Qualifications:

  • Degree in Human Resources or related with experience
  • 5+ years of experience in Human Resources and Talent Acquisition/Recruiting 
  • Business acumen, customer focused, professional, and action oriented
  • Strong organization and computer skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
