Internal Communications

Our client, a global activewear brand, is looking for an experienced and talented Internal Communications Manager to join their team for a 12 month contract. 


-The nature of the work is focused on understanding and conveying company and product information to internal and external stakeholders through appropriate and effective channels.

-Develop ongoing relationships with business partners across a range of functions including Product Creation, Retail, Sales and Commerce, HR and others to assist with delivery of strategic communications plans, messaging and products.

-Coordinate project deliverables and act as a liaison to technical communications team and others.

-Assist in the development of communications strategies/plans that identify business goals to be achieved, measurable objectives, audiences, messaging, creative concepts, communications channels, communications cadence and metrics.

-Outline and continually update project plans; timelines and delivery calendars; and communications materials.

-Develop and execute messaging for internal communications.

-Write and Develop and execute messaging for internal communications.

-Write and edit content for intranet, digital radio, executive blogs, and internal announcements.

-Ensure that a thorough review, editing and updating process is followed for all communication.

-Deliver communications projects through a variety of channels.

-Utilize an array of existing channels and tools and emerging technology to deliver global messaging.

-Assist with event production, intranet content and media relations as needed.

Skills: Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, business, marketing or related field and a minimum of 3 years related experience involving events and communications required.Typical Office: This is a typical office job, with no special physical requirements or unusual work environment. Education: Typically requires a Bachelors Degree and minimum of 2 years directly relevant work experience Note: One of the following alternatives may be accepted: PhD or Law + 1 yr; Masters + 0-3 yrs; Associates degree + 1-3 yrs; High School + 3-5 yrs.
