Junior Media Business Analyst
Our client, an entertainment company well known internationally within television, movies and production is looking for a Junior Media Business Analyst.
This is a 10 month temporary assignment, M-F 40 hours/week with pay rate of $20/HR.
Manager is not looking for somebody in ad sales but needs good analyst.
Although this is supporting the Ad Sales business, this position is more of a Jr Business Analyst and will interface between business teams and IT teams.
•This is an essential position to the Sales Management Solutions team as this role will provide daily support to the execution of the Ad Sales process. This role will support all company’s networks both linear and digital for two in-house applications
•Ensure highest possible level of data integrity between the 2 in-house applications and data warehouse
•A lot of work involving data tie outs and manipulations within MS Excel
•Be the part of the support team including managing new hires and terminations, answering user requests, resolving user issues, and maintaining system configuration settings
•Document manual processes, calculations and business logic within specified reporting artifacts
•Collaborate on ad hoc projects, which are typically involving updating large volumes of data
•Assist IT in QA and pre-UAT testing efforts ensuring data quality within reporting solutions
•Modify documentation as needed, including changes to templates, training materials, quick references, etc.
•Work with business users and IT to resolve data quality issues
•Looking for candidates with Excel experience. A lot of the work will involve data tie outs and manipulation.
•Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent experience
•Proven experience in CRM systems, particularly Salesforce.com
•Strong MS Office including advanced MS Excel skills
•Proven experience with business intelligence and reporting technologies (e.g. MicroStrategy, SAS)
•Report Writer and Oracle experience is a plus
