Lead Administrative Assistant

Our client in the sports apparel and footwear industry is looking to for a Lead Administrative Assistant!  We are looking for a candidate who is able to keep up with our client’s rapid pace.  The candidate must have incredible attention to detail, love solving problems, and great time management skills.  This is a 5 month contract, that is likely to extend.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepares expense reports and purchase orders and maintains office supplies; updates organizational charts; coordinates department or equipment moves.

  • Works with internal/external contacts for venue requirements and selection, room set-up, catering, and materials delivery.

  • Responds tactfully and promptly to inquiries and problems within scope of established authority.

  • Coordinates a full range of meeting, event, and travel arrangements; manages calendars.

  • Works with travel agents, airlines, and others regarding planning and customer service issues.

  • Arranges meetings and conferences; and receiving, referring, or answering mail.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Strong computer skills including proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, and/or KeyNote

  • Ability to work independently, balance multiple priorities at once, and meet tight deadlines

  • Reviews drafts and finished documents for appropriate grammatical usage.

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma Bachelor’s Degree, or one of the following alternatives: Bachelor’s degree + 1 yr or Associates degree + 2 yrs.

  • Minimum of 4 years relevant work experience.
