Luxury Interior Outside Sales Representative based in LA needed for a WELL KNOWN Global high end company. 

Job Description

The Outside Sales Representative will be responsible for growing revenue within his/her territory, creating the superior experience that clients would expect and deserve. The sales rep would bring the experience of the Collections out to the client by setting up appointments and presentations with both contract/hospitality and residential design firms, etc. 

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Be an expert on all the products including how product is made, how it is maintained, assortment offerings, etc.
  • Develop new accounts in the hospitality, residential and contract markets
  • Identify growth opportunities including high potential customers
  • Maintain superior relationships with clients
  • Meet and exceed personal, territory and company sales goals
  • Keep accounts up-to-date on new product and offerings
  • Work collaboratively with inside showroom team
  • Update client libraries, ensuring all clients in territory are presented with most-up-to-date products and resources available
  • Create quotes and convert to sales orders in order to help achieve overall sales goal

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor degree or equivalent work experience
  • 3-5+ years of outside sales related to interior design
  • Strong understanding of the luxury interior design industry
  • Self-motivated, with a successful track record in outside sales in the furniture/home industry
  • High level of ownership, accountability and initiative
  • Furniture product knowledge
  • Ability to multitask
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Organized, detailed oriented, and self-motivated, sales focused
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word/Excel/Outlook
  • Established relationships with trade accounts is a MUST
