Marketing Manager (K-Beauty)

Client Overview: 

Our client is a trendy K-Beauty prestige color cosmetic brand. 

Position Overview:

In this role, you will collaborate closely with brand marketing, digital, sales, creative, finance, and operations on all marketing initiatives. You will support the Marketing Director to implement and execute impactful promotional programs that will engage consumer activity and drive customer acquisition while achieving a strong ROI.  

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as primary contact with key retailers (i.e. Sephora & future potential retailers); maintain daily communication and correspondence with retailer and cross-functional teams             

  • Identify regional priorities and develops overall 360 consumer marketing strategy inclusive of Social Media, Trade, Creative, Events and PR in partnership with cross-functional Global and U.S. teams     

  • Develop and execute creative 360 marketing campaigns for new product launches, and recommend innovative marketing initiatives for existing products in order to ensure brand growth in sales and market share

  • Identify cosmetics, skincare, and consumer behavior trends globally and adapt to local market

  • Create marketing creative and copy including packaging, merchandising, retailer presentations, events and other promotional opportunities.

  • Manage the ongoing day-to-day activities in the areas of marketing plan development and execution

  • Prepare presentations for new product sell in meetings and ongoing market/strategy meetings

  • Oversee ongoing influencer collaborations and activities to keep the brand top of mind and to increase user generated content

  • Develop talent and manage Assistant Marketing Manager and Coordinator

Key Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree 

  • 4+ years' relevant marketing experience in Prestige Color Cosmetics or Skincare (beauty required)

  • Bi-lingual in Korean and English (preferred)

  • Experience working with ULTA or Sephora (required)

  • Digital fluency - foundational understanding of consumer behaviors in the digital space and how consumers engage with influencer content across social and digital platforms

  • Flexible to travel to retail HQ's and industry events (10-30%)
