Experienced Color and Materials Designer with a focus on both the art & science of Color and Materials. Drives material innovation excellence through the connection of storytelling, design, development, and manufacturing specific to a special collection – Sneaker Lab.
Curate a unique color + approved material palette that will help dimensionalize stories and ideas created in partnership with a collaborator. Brings to life a toolkit around color, material, and graphics that is trend-relevant and distinct to customization and Sneaker Lab.
_Collaborate with our Digital, Operations, Product Marketing and Development teams to focus color and materials solutions for market success. In addition, you'll review samples to achieve marketable solutions and maintain calendar timelines and deadlines to ensure the timely completion of each product.
_Works closely with Color & Material leads to create a compelling palette strategy that is unique to Sneaker Lab yet complements existing offerings.

_Communicates with approved material vendors to ensure viability in terms of timing, execution, production, and minimum order quantities.
_Material specialist at the product and collection level
_Plans and executes product details and reviews all samples, troubleshoots achievability issues, and clearly communicates changes to ensure timely completion of each project
_Builds awareness of current material trends, through fashion, art, design, and sports-related products through market research to keep abreast of consumer needs
_Learns and builds creative technical materials knowledge
_Conducts in-depth research on consumer trends, insights, and competitors for a focused market segment or category
_Enthusiastic, curious, and self-starting
_Engaged in emerging manufacturing and material advancements
_Utilizes strong understanding of material technology and most material types
_Uses solid presentation skills to varied audiences
_Knowledge of the product design and development process
_Familiarity with product manufacturing processes
_ Macintosh computer experience, including Photoshop and Illustrator skills
