Merchandising Operations Assistant
Our client, a global activewear brand, is looking for an enthusiastic and passionate Merchandising Operations Assistant to join their team for a 1-year contract.
-The nature of the work is focused on consumer insights, assortment planning, Go to Market, and product management activities.
-Gathers data from sales, retail, and product creation sources.
-Validates accuracy, and alerts team to outliers.
-Develops standardized methods of collecting data.
-Enters data as necessary.
-Runs standard reports.
-Analyzes data, draws conclusions, and makes suggestions to Merchandising Ops team based on the data.
-Using established financial models, performs preliminary analysis that drive towards
-Merchandising efficiencies, cost effectiveness, and enhanced quality of product assortments.
-Becomes acquainted with data systems and how they interact.
-Collects basic requirements for improvements.
Typical Office: This is a typical office job, with no special physical requirements or unusual work environment.
Typically requires a Bachelors Degree and minimum of 0-1 years directly relevant work experience Note: One of the following alternatives may be accepted: PhD or Law + 1 yr; Masters + 0-3 yrs; Associates degree + 1-3 yrs; High School + 3-5 yrs.
