Global sports & lifestyle brand looking for a merchandising operations coordinator for a 6 month contract!
Duties: The nature of the work is focused on consumer insights, assortment planning, Go to Market, and product management activities. Gathers data from sales, retail, and product creation sources. Validates accuracy, and alerts team to outliers. Develops standardized methods of collecting data. Enters data as necessary. Runs standard reports. Analyzes data, draws conclusions, and makes suggestions to Merchandising Ops team based on the data. Using established financial models, performs preliminary analysis that drive towards Merchandising efficiencies, cost effectiveness, and enhanced quality of product assortments. Becomes acquainted with data systems and how they interact. Collects basic requirements for improvements.
