National Field Sales and Education Manager/Director

Client Overview: 

Our client is an Australian health and wellness brand known for interesting sleep and beauty! They've recently launched in the USA and exciting growth plans.

Position Overview:

In this role, you would be responsible for overseeing National field sales and education activities and establishing strong relationships with retailer’s store regional and national executive teams. You will manage a field sales team and report into a Head of Sales, North America. 
 

Responsibilities:

  • Recruit & train new brand ambassadors (6)

  • Implement sales strategies that actively promote sales growth whilst balanced against budget requirements

  • Provide education tools, equipment and services to retail partners to assist in building brand awareness and developing good understanding of product features and benefits

  • Liaise with retail partners (i.e. Sephora, Nordstrom, Saks, Neiman Marcus, URBN) to increase brands in store presence and exposure; negotiate space and location and promotional activity opportunities

  • Maximize sell in of all new products and seasonal items; encourage assortment extensions where it makes sense

Key Qualifications:

  • Proven NATIONAL field sales & education experience within Skincare and/or Haircare

  • 8+ years' relevant experience including National Sales + hiring, training and managing a field team

  • Must have prior Sales & Education experience with Nordstrom and Sephora

  • Must be comfortable working in a start-up environment (3 US employees total)

  • Willing to travel to the West Coast once per quarter + frequent day trips throughout the East Coast + overnight trips as needed

  • Must be proficient in Excel/Word
