Performance Marketing Manager

Our client is looking for a full-time Performance Marketing Manager to create and execute on a media strategy that will efficiently scale DTC e-commerce businesses. The ideal candidate will bring deep DTC marketing knowledge and will have demonstrated success in driving e-commerce growth through past experiences. This person will consistently evaluate and optimize current marketing channels while driving growth through exploration and testing of new channels such as OTT, YouTube, Display Advertising, and OOH.

The Responsibilities:

o Drive all growth/performance marketing efforts, leading a small team to meet acquisition and conversion KPI targets

o Partner with internal brand managers to shape and execute marketing and media strategy across a portfolio of brands

o Set and own media budget, based on past performance insights and the vision for future opportunity, continually optimizing and re-allocating spend across channels to maximize growth and spend efficiency

o Track performance of new customer cohorts to ensure payback on media spend within a target time frame

o Continually re-evaluate current partners, agencies, and marketing technologies to ensure net value-add, and pivot as needed

o Lead new channel exploration and testing with the goal of finding efficient & scalable channels to add to ongoing media mix

o Report on KPIs to demonstrate effectiveness of performance marketing efforts to leadership team in order to drive a shared understanding of overall strategy, team initiatives, and opportunities

o Partner cross-functionally to ideate and test creative and value propositions to optimize funnel efficiency

o Enhance in-house capabilities pertaining to creative reporting, attribution and internal channel management of paid search, influencer marketing and affiliates

o Manage the monthly marketing accounting reconciliation process to facilitate on-time & accurate close of books

o Improve reporting and insights pertaining to marketing analytics in partnership with the Analytics team

o Manage junior team members to help them learn & grow in their roles and become versatile marketers comfortable owning strategy for their channel(s)

o Identify personnel needs and lead hiring process EXEMPT/NON-EXEMPT Exempt FULL-TIME/PART-TIME Full-Time POSITION REQUIREMENTS

o 5+ years of experience in multi-channel digital/performance marketing or growth in DTC

o Experience managing a multi-million dollar media budget

o Excellent analytical skills with proven record of driving growth through the application of data-driven insights

o Experience managing external agencies

o Experience leading teams to meet goals

o Great communication and interpersonal skills with experience working cross-functionally

o Self-starter who thrives without rigid structure

o Ability to think outside the box and challenge entrenched beliefs or practices o Forward-looking and up-to-date on the DTC landscape, always looking to be at the forefront of the next marketing strategy

o Experience in Power BI and data visualizations platforms such as DOMO, Tableau, Looker preferred

o Bachelor's degree or higher (preferably in marketing or quantitative field) from a recognized institution

o Can-do attitude and willingness to roll with the punches

o Comfortable leading team but augmenting by working independently
