Product Marketing Manager

Overview:

Our client, a mobile gaming company creating some of the most popular titles on the market, is looking for a Product Marketing Manager to join their team! As the Product Marketing Manager, you will help to research, develop and execute the marketing plans for a new game.

Product Marketing Manager Responsibilities:

  • Develop the research plan in partnership with UXR and studio team for the new game to better understand the target audience, the competitive landscape, and unique selling propositions for the new game
  • Create the marketing plans for all phases of the game launch from internal betas, to external betas, soft launches and worldwide launch
  • Collaborate across teams including PR, social/community, user acquisition, creative, lifecycle marketing and research to build a holistic plan
  • Partner with the internal studio development team, ensuring marketing and product insights are cross pollinated in the marketing and in the game
  • Develop the key art/visual ID working with creative teams & studio collaboration
  • Establish and assure adherence to budgets, schedules, and outbound marketing plans

Product Marketing Manager Qualifications:

  • 6-10 years of relevant product marketing experience focused on consumer marketing
  • Experience working with consumer brands
  • Strong project management skillset
  • Match your creative ideas with deep knowledge of digital measurement
  • Lifecycle marketing experience a plus
  • Comfortable working under tight deadlines
  • Able to quickly pivot and adjust plans in this dynamic industry
  • Self-starter and experience managing cross-functional programs
  • Ability to present and earn buy-in for projects with multiple stakeholders
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Experience in mobile apps ideal; mobile gaming a plus
