Product Marketing Manager

The Digital Marketing Specialist acquires new leads and customers through online PPC and/or CPM models. Their goal is to promote products resulting in a profitable cost-per-acquisition on any assigned channels. They oversee external online acquisition marketing, managing the strategy, execution, and optimization across designated channels. This position requires a mastery of analytics, thinking ahead, forecasting and an ability to turn data into usable information. This is an independent position that requires an ability to think, plan, execute, test and review all on your own.

Duties and responsibilities

Plan and execute strategies to drive consistent relevant online traffic to the company website. Including identifying new customer segments and marketing opportunities. Responsible for planning and budgetary control of all assigned channels Build and manage the company’s social media profiles and presence, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, Amazon and additional channels that may be deemed relevant. Run regular social promotions and campaigns and track their success Work alongside other marketers and content marketers to help distribute content that educates and entertains our audience and supports marketing goals. Explore new ways to engage and identify new social networks to reach our target buyers. Track, measure, and analyze all initiatives to report on social media ROI. Manage the strategy and setup of all paid campaigns on assigned channels. Measure and optimize our paid marketing using vendor-specific dashboards, Google Analytics, and marketing analytics reports. Research and test partnerships with new vendors to expand our reach and/or lower our cost-per-acquisition. Collaborate with marketing teammates to maintain a consistent brand voice and message across all paid programs. Stay up-to-date with digital marketing trends and potential new channels and strategies to keep us ahead, including updates to social media marketing, attribution, and programmatic media buying

Qualifications Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree required in business marketing, internet marketing or closely related major or at least five years proven work experience as a digital media specialist or digital marketing manager Master’s degree preferred. Experience in advertising design preferred. 3 years e-commerce experience required

Demonstrated Skills:

Basic understanding of HTML and CSS as well as content management systems Excellent analytical and project management skills An ability to multitask and perform under tight deadlines Strong verbal and written communication skills Additional qualification in web design or animation is a plus Ability to set clear targeted goals with quantifiable objectives to measure results and formulate new marketing strategies. Ability to think critically, creatively, strategically and analyze situations from multiple points of view. Articulate opinions and back up with comprehensive arguments and plans based on factual data In-depth understanding of FB Ads Manager and Google Analytics Experience utilizing behavior-based marketing and demonstrated ability to incorporate this into online campaigns. Experience with marketing budgets 1M+ per month preferred. Advanced/Specialized Knowledge: Thorough understanding of Email Campaigns, Online Marketing, SEM and PPC and ability to track & analyze Thorough understanding of E-commerce conversion rates and how they are tied to online marketing efforts In depth understanding of the entire customer journey from exposure to purchase and how to tie each portion of that journey to a measurable number.
