Our client is seeking a Production Manager to join their team!

Your Job Duties would include:
? Help design and develop Production and Sourcing Department, including hiring and managing employees
? Manage production process from point of conception to finished product.
? Identify improvements opportunities in the production process by collaborating with the buying, design, and merchandising departments
? Source fabrics, yarns, and trims; obtains approvals for fabric, lab dips, and trims.
? Negotiate costs and deliverables with sourcing partners
? Manage vendor timeline and ensure delivery dates are being met
? Effectively communicate production issues and delays with the Team
? Manage and build long-term vendor partnerships
? Report directly to the Executive Buyer and Director of Merchandising
? 3-5 years of apparel design and manufacturing experience
? Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
? Knowledge of sourcing, manufacturing and costing
? Ability to work well under pressure
? Knowledge of technical design, fabric, yarns, knit, woven construction, and print techniques.
? Knowledge of global sourcing trends and strategies.
? Knowledge of time and action and production calendars.
? Strong negotiation and communications skills
? Ability to manage multiple projects with shifting priorities
? Vendor and sourcing contacts a plus
? Ability to understand our brand aesthetic and design
? Must be willing to visit local vendors in the surrounding Los Angeles area
? Bilingual in Korean and/or Chinese is a plus
? Proficient in Microsoft Office & Excel
