Project Manager

Our client, a well-known beauty brand, is looking for a Project Manager that will be responsible for overseeing all projects related to brand launches. Candidate will be responsible for preparing all project documentation, including production/project plans, detailed timelines outlining key milestones, status reports in addition to tracking accordingly to ensure deadlines are efficiently met.

Job Description

• Develop project plans and manages the cost, scope, schedule and quality

• Organize and lead cross functional team in developing and implementing project deliverables; also provides task direction to project staff and interacts with Vendors in release management

• Coordinate with internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects

• Develop a detailed project plan to track progress

• Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs

• Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques

• Report and escalate to management as needed

• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation

• Work closely with Senior Management, Quality Control, Product Development, Operations, Marketing and other cross-functional team members throughout the product development and product launch phase

• Prioritize and track issues and create remediation plans for resolution of impediments in priority order

• Create Bill of Materials for all new launches


• Must have superior written and verbal communication, organizational, leadership, and supervision skills

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management

• College degree in related field

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and task management tools

• Experience with project estimation (scoping, key activities, deliverables, assumptions, etc)

• The ability to multitask (across all projects and internal departments)

• Experience working with external vendors/manufacturers

• Knowledge of project management tools, best practices and processes

• Relentless attention to detail and follow through

• Has professional working knowledge in business matters, including finance, planning, forecasting and personnel in order to manage team tasks and business issues

• Must be able to organize and schedule work effectively

• Must be able to work well under time constraints

• Must be able to handle multiple tasks with changing priorities, communicating changes in scope and schedule to all parties concerned

• Must be service-oriented

• Must be able to work independently

• Must be able to maintain confidentiality
