Project Manager - temp to hire
Our client, a boutique agency on the westside has an immediate need for a Project Manager. This is a freelance position onsite with potential to go fulltime for the right candidate.
The Project Manager is responsible for assisting the Design Team & Senior Management Team with the successful completion of client projects, ensuring client satisfaction. They will manage projects to ensure flawless execution of all tasks – including assisting in organizing, managing and communicating with resources that deliver all the work required to complete a project within a defined scope, quality, timeframes and cost constraints.
This position will manage all factors that govern project success to ensure high-quality delivery within time, cost and scope parameters, and assist with and manage high level projects with the support of a Senior Management Team.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Agency Processes - enforces a streamlined workflow of agency processes Teamwork Project Management – uses Teamwork project management software to ensure that all projects are adhering to the specified hours allocated in the Statement of Work. Reports hours to Senior Project Manager and uses hours to track projects and to build post project reports Timelines - make sure each project is completed on schedule Scheduling – implements project schedule through execution Oversight - manage the schedule throughout the project lifecycle to track progress and make necessary adjustments for any changes that may be necessary Quality Assurance Reviews - make certain our work meets our quality standards and that tasks and projects are completed properly to ensure client satisfaction. Notify Senior Project Manager when artwork does not meet Clever standards or the client objective Problem Resolution - monitor problem projects to ensure that issues are resolved satisfactorily and on a timely basis. Centralized Communications - serve as the centralized communications point and ensure that all team members receive timely and appropriate project information and feedback. Meeting Scheduling & Coordination - create/design meeting schedules to achieve effective communication and exchange information between all key stakeholders. Disseminate documents electronically & hardcopies for internal meetings Creative Direction – assist our team with communicating creative direction regarding project accounts from time to time Project Assets – works with Account Director to gather all necessary assets for each project Project Status -Coordinates with Senior Project Manager or Agency Director to relay pertinent project information for internal project status document Naming Conventions - maintains project naming conventions and server organizational standards Feedback – Uses Teamwork to share and manage project feedback with the team Coordinates production meetings with vendors, procures production quotes and shares them with the Account Manager
• 3-4 years agency project management experience
• Can-Do attitude as we are a small agency and all need to pitch in with things around the office
