You will be responsible for providing best-in-class talent acquisition consultation and recruiting service delivery in a shared services organization spanning all departments and companies owned by Media company.  Each member of the team has the responsibility and opportunity to influence talent acquisition strategies, innovate improvements in their function, and drive exceptional experiences across all customer groups.

As Talent Acquisition Coordinator, you will drive a best-in-class experience by coordinating the administrative activities of the requisition delivery and candidate management to optimize service delivery.  As an essential contributor in our high-performing team, the Talent Acquisition Coordinator is also responsible for the successful operation of the logistics management function and, therefore, impacts the success of the team as a whole.

Duties and responsibilities


Drive day-to-day TA logistics operations in alignment with service delivery metrics, methodologies, and processes to achieve goals:

1. Counsel TA team and internal partners on technical/procedural questions and innovative practices as their day-to-day logistics management subject matter expert

2. Serve as a liaison to candidates and hiring managers by building effective relationships and employing effective communication mechanisms/routines designed to maximize information exchange

3. Manage the end-to-end logistics throughout the requisition lifecycle, including but not limited to:

  • executing all TA administrative processes as needed
  • coordinating with candidates and hiring managers as needed
  • administrating candidate assessments as needed
  • booking/assisting with candidate travel as needed
  • initiating, conducting, and managing pre-employment screening as needed
  • preparing new hire for first day activities
  • assisting and/or leading compliance reporting and document management

4. Balance the customization of individual logistics solutions with the alignment of TA vision and the adherence to consistent practices

5. Embed relevant talent management practices, compliance requirements, and diversity & inclusion strategies within logistics management activities


  • seamlessly deliver exceptional hiring manager and candidate experiences
  • support functions as needed (e.g., posting open positions, extending offers, managing applicant tracking requirements, etc.)
  • maintain accurate and timely documents pertinent to the recruiting process
  • Actively enhance skills and abilities within logistics management by developing an understanding of business unit talent strategies/culture and understanding TA strengths and challenges in assigned areas
  • Utilize available tools and resources to enhance logistics management throughout the requisition lifecycle
  • Drive operational improvements and team engagement through transparency, ownership, and collaboration
  • Network with internally and externally to stay abreast of trending and best practices


  • HS diploma or GED required
  • Minimum of 2 years of professional work experience required
  • Previous experience working in a Corporate Human Resources department preferred
  • Experience working with an Applicant Tracking and Talent Management System (e.g. PeopleSoft, Taleo) strongly desired
  • Strong responsiveness and sense of urgency
  • Solid computer skills, including experience with MS Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
