Retail Communications Production Manager

Drive the planning, maintenance, and reporting of the US fixture inventory program, as well as the existing fixture landscape across all US retailers where has installed some level of a fixture program. Specific duties include working with all key warehousing suppliers, balancing inventory levels guiding incoming assets as well as the removal of aging assets and supporting the Retail Concepts (RC) team with the logistics of their inventory needs. In addition, this individual will be responsible for building and maintaining a master door database which will track all US based wholesalers down to the door level including number of spaces, size of spaces, fixture assets by space, etc. Primary objectives of this role are to maintain a healthy and balanced inventory program for the US RC team, generate inventory and door level reports that help guide decisions with key business partners, and support the development of the US wholesale maintenance & repair program. Key Accountabilities (List the 5-10 major areas of responsibility for role): § Become an expert in all global retail concept manuals which includes concept purpose, fixture sets, configurations, hardware, and accessories that make up all active concepts. § Develop strong relationships with our current suppliers who are servicing from a warehousing and logistics perspective. § Maintain our ever-changing master warehousing fixture log and work with RC team to help facilitate the logistics of new inventory as well as the removal of aging inventory. § Partner with Procurement and Sourcing teams to establish negotiated warehousing rate cards with current and future warehousing suppliers including pick-in-pack, administration, storage, shipping, tracking, and asset destruction. § Partner with RC on shipping logistics process, suppliers, tracking, and reporting § Partner with the RC and Procurement teams to establish and maintain proper fixture, hardware, and accessory inventory levels for the purpose of supporting our Maintenance & Repair program. § Manage overarching warehousing budgets and partner with the RC team to ensure all warehousing services are being tracked, invoiced, and paid on time and within allocated budget(s). § Partner with the Director of Concepts & Production and Finance to maintain an accurate financial log which will be used to make key business decisions regarding inventory, as well as conduct quarterly inventory reviews with this group. § Develop and maintain a  master branded space door tracker that tracks all retailers and spaces within each retailer’s door including number of spaces, size of spaces, concepts, fixture packages, etc. § Partner with our Market Place Transformation (MPT) team to support the implementation of a new data entry program specifically designed to track our master retail door data with a goal of streamlining the entry process, improve the accuracy of information captured, and building reports that help inform key business partners of the current branded space landscape across wholesale. § Stay current of retail trends and best practices in the market and apply learnings to RC programs. Knowledge Skills and Abilities: § Proven understanding of warehousing and inventory management, ideally for retail fixture programs. § Ability to lead, partner with and influence cross-functional teams without direct management responsibilities. § Excel at building relationships with external suppliers and partners while obtaining the best quality services for the best value. § Strong organization, project management, and communication skills. § Strong budget and forecast management discipline. § Previous data analysis and reporting experience, preferred. Qualifications (Minimum required education and experience): § bachelor’s degree (B.A.), preferred § Minimum of three (3) years of warehousing, logistics, and, or inventory management § Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
