Sales Director (K-Beauty)

Client Overview:

Our client is a fast-growing K-Beauty brand, developed by a Dermatologist. They're known for their BB cream and USDA certified unisex skincare with fun packaging.

Position Overview:

In this position, you will lead the growth and global positioning; strategize and develop programs to drive business growth.  You will manage/mentor a team of 3 across Sales & Education.


  • Develop and manage global sales, promotional calendars, budgets, and strategies.

  • Execute with excellence, lead team to execute and implement approved in-store and online business plans.

  • Prospecting new business across North & South America + developing Buyer relationships.

  • Determines annual unit and gross-profit plans by implementing sales and marketing strategies; analyzing trends and results.

  • Establishes sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for regions and territories; projecting expected sales volume and profit for existing and new products.

  • Implements national sales programs by developing field sales action plans.

  • Maintains sales volume, product mix, and selling price by keeping current with supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators, and competitors.

  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.

  • Collaboration with Sephora Education and in-house education managers.

Key Qualifications:

  • BA/BS in any business field; MBA preferred

  • 7+ years of experience in Beauty (Color/Skincare) Sales Management

  • Prior experience working with Sephora, JCP, Ulta, QVC 

  • Prior managerial experience with a proven track-record developing talent 

  • Strong prospecting skills and excellent closing skills

  • Able to travel with overnights to markets

  • English + Spanish/French speaking preferred
