SEM/PPC Manager - Philadelphia


Award winning digital marketing agency has an immediate needfor a SEM/PPC & Digital Media Manager. The SEM/PPC & Digital MediaManager is responsible for working on paid media strategies within GoogleAdWords, Bing Ads, Paid Social (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn) and other paidmedia platforms.

As part of the growing Search Department the ideal candidatewill also be responsible for campaign management in AdWords, Analytics andExcel as well as contributing with the SEM/PPC Management team. This rolesupports all aspects of paid campaigns, from strategy development,implementation, optimization, to reporting and analysis.


Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 2+years of hands on PPC/Paid Search management experience with Google, Yahoo/Bing

  • Understandingof Google AdWords and Google AdWords Editor

  • GoogleAnalytics experience; ability to quickly learn and integrate new features/functions

  • Solidunderstanding of PPC best practices and key principles including but notlimited to:

    • Optimizingfor different networks and platforms

    • Bidmanagement, quality score and ad position

    • Utilizingmultivariate testing to determine best call to action in ad copy

    • Optimizationdown to the keyword, ad, and managed placement level

    • Cost-per-leadand cost-per-sale optimization with a strong focus on conversion metrics todrive increased campaign ROI

    • Historyof managing PPC campaigns

  • Experiencewith bid management tools such as Kenshoo, Acquisio and Marin (Nice to have,not a requirement)

  • Experiencewith 3rd party SEM tools (SpyFU, SEMrush)

  • Problem-solvingand critical thinking. Ability to develop workarounds amid sub-optimalconditions; ability to see multiple alternatives and make sense of ambiguity.

  • Abilityto work independently. Demonstrated history of self-management, decisiveness,and leadership within assigned role.

  • Cross-functionalcollaboration. Ability to communicate effectively with client managers anddevelopment team about technical requirements related to media campaigns.
