Social Media Coordinator - Beauty

Our client, a global beauty brand is looking for a Social Media Coordinator. This is a fulltime position onsite.

 The person in this position will be exposed to and learn all aspects of social media marketing including extensive community engagement via social media, influencer relations, and social e-commerce. Duties will include, but not limited to, assistance in photoshoots, micro-influencer outreach, Instagram story creation, and assisting in day to day task support to the social media manager and coordinator. This role will be instrumental in increasing our social media presence and gaining visibility for our brand across the world.


• Strategically recommend brand and influencer collaborations for social giveaways

• Measure, monitor, and report on specific program performance and longer-term trends as well as other industries related to influencer efforts

• Create monthly reports on OPI social media channels - highlight trends and best performing content

• Manage blog content (provide to email marketing manager and website content manager)

• Work with copywriters and designers to ensure content is informative and follows brand guidelines and tone of voice

• Create and manage all campaign activity on Sprinklr

• Oversee community management team and establish weekly CM reporting with support of data analyst

• Support and manage Social Media Assistant and Interns

• Align with PR initiatives & provide coverage of PR events on OPI Social Media channels, incorporate PR events into social media calendars

• Propose multi-region engagement initiatives to support major milestone rollouts

• Assist the Social Media Manager with the creation of social key messaging, reactive messaging, and FAQs for global use

• Manage and develop social media content shoot styling guidelines and images for content

• Closely collaborate with the Social Media Manager to create social channel strategy, social content calendar and set up KPIs

• Curate and create all social media calendars using current collections and color system initiatives to make the brand feel cohesive among all social media platforms

• Monitor competitors on social media and make recommendations based on their content

Desired Qualifications:

• Proven track record of increasing brand audience and engagement

• Bachelor’s degree in English, journalism, marketing, communications, or related field

• 2+ years of experience in media/social media

• Excellent copywriting and language skills

• Demonstrate creativity and documented immersion in social media

• Understanding of SEO and web traffic metrics

• Data/Analytics reporting – knowledge of social media KPI’s

• Display in-depth knowledge and understanding of social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, Google+ etc.), their respective audiences and how each platform can be deployed in different scenarios

• Excellent writing and language skills

• Excellent multitasking skills

• Critical thinker and problem-solving skills

• Team player

• Good time-management skills

• Great interpersonal and communication skills
